This adorable apartment is perfect for an ocean getaway. The apartment was clean and cozy with comfortable beds and many amenities. You can't beat the gorgeous ocean view from the front room. The apartment is an easy walk or short car ride to Rockport, a quintessential New England oceanside town. Nancy was a wonderful and accommodating host. We will definitely be back to stay again!
Relax by the Ocean
Everything you need for a peaceful, relaxing vacation. Comfortable living area, small but functional kitchen area, large bedroom with a king bed, and s small bathroom. Great view of the ocean from the windows or the small, private garden. This is just a great place to relax and unwind. The owner, Nancy, is very friendly and available to answer any questions or resolve any problems. We would definitely stay again if we return to Rockport.

Great stay at The Seaward. Slept like a baby on a great bed and was looked after well by the host. A really nice walk in to Rockport or wander round to Gap Cove, the beauty of the place is hard to match. Can’t wait to return to The Seaward and to this corner of New England

Extended Summer Stay
The accommodations at the Seaward were comfortable, clean, and the decor tastefully laid out against a lovely backdrop of a scenic ocean view right outside our window. Nancy was gracious and ready to do anything and everything to ensure our stay would be comfortable. I particularly enjoyed that fact that there were bicycles bicycles for the guests to use. I highly recommend the Seaward for a homey get away.

Relaxing Getaway
The Seaward is a very relaxing, peaceful location. The accommodations were very very clean and comfortable. We had a cute front deck with rocking chairs to sit and watch the breath taking ocean views. We rode up from Boston by train so had no transportation. Nancy picked us up from the train station and gave us a tour of Rockport by car. We were given bicycles to get around the village. I can’t tell you how much fun we had for the 2 nights of staying at this location. Highly recommended!

Lovers Cove at The Seaward
Lovers Cove at The Seaward was delightful place for us to relax and stay for our daughters graduation from Endicott College. Away from all the bustle of other people and right across the street from rocks and water. We had a living area bedroom bathroom and a little kitchen galley area that was perfect we were preparing simple breakfast and lunches. We enjoyed going out to dinner at the restaurants in beautiful Rockport. We enjoyed meeting the owner Nancy, who is the daughter of the original owners. We look forward to visiting again soon.

A wonderful stay at Spruce cottage!
We have truly loved coming to the Seaward for many, many years and consider it our home away from home. Our most recent stay at Spruce cottage was no exception. Following the hustle and bustle of our daughter’s wedding we were in need of a little “rand r”, and a week at the Seaward fit the bill. The ocean view from the front lawn was amazing, the cottage was extremely comfortable and well equipped to meet all of our needs. As usual, Nancy welcomed us back and took great care of us!

Perfect getaway
Perfect location and accommodations for our vacation. Could hear the ocean from my bed at high tide. A bike ride from beaches and Bearskin Neck. The borrowed beach pass and air conditioning (a necessity that week!) were a bonus! Nancy was very accommodating and took great care of us.

A perfect spot for a fall getaway and visit to Endicott for Parent’s weekend!
“What a perfect spot!” We could not be happier with our room “suite”! We have already talked about coming back to rent the same room for later in the school year, next Fall/Parents weekend and for graduation next spring! We love the white horizontal boards on the walls and the open space! Maybe next visit we will get to sit out on the Adirondack chairs and enjoy the beautiful view to the ocean. Loved the mason jar of coffee, sugar, & snacks! Thank you!

Wonderful!
We had a marvelous time at The Seaward and in Rockport. The cottage was spacious and bright and clean – with everything my husband and I needed, including a small kitchenette. Nancy is a warm and gracious host. The views are spectacular. Rockport offers a lot. We went several times to Rockport’s terrific Shalin Liu performing arts center, swam in the ocean, biked and walked from the cottage all over town and to the beaches, and biked out to the state park. We will go back.

Excellent Vacation
We really enjoyed our stay at the Seaward. Nancy could not have been more accommodating. The location is great with a wonderful view. The cottage has everything you could possibly need and was very clean and comfortable. We hope to visit again in the future.

Serenity by the Sea
We just want to say how much we enjoyed our stay at the Seaward. You couldn’t have made it more perfect, with all the little touches to make it feel like home. The cleanliness was aces, and that’s always so important to us. Your location was outstanding, serenity of the ocean views plus walking trails along the sea (our dog loved). It’ll hold a special place in our hearts, and we can’t wait to come back again.
